How a Quick Response May Be Your Most Effective Marketing Tactic

A while back I searched for a real estate-focused website provider and came upon a vendor whose website caught my attention. It was 10 p.m. – the time I typically am available to do such research. The website provided in-depth information, including a how-to-article that walked me through the various steps I’d have to follow to get started. Additionally, video tutorials were available as was an extensive photo album with price information for each available product. I liked the templates I saw and sent an email to request additional information. In less than a minute I received a reply: “We appreciate your interest in our company. Joe has been assigned as your account executive, and he will follow up with a phone call between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. tomorrow.” In the meantime,” the message continued, “please click on the following links below to further lean about our company and the products and services we hope to provide you with.” By the time Joe called me the following day at 9:30 a.m. I immediately expressed to him how impressed I was with my experience with his company up until that point. They had provided me with all the necessary information I had been looking for, they were extremely responsive, and they delivered what they had promised: a phone call the following morning. There is no shortage of website providers serving the real estate industry and I could easily have continued my search for additional options. The company effectively caught my attention and their prompt reply gave me a reason not to continue searching for yet another vendor. That brings me to what consumers expect when they contact you. Consumers as well as REALTORS® probably go about their search for information about Staging, and a Stager, in a similar way. They will likely look up information about you online, and find your website, profile page at Stagedhomes.com, at Facebook, or somewhere else. They will most likely choose an email response over phone, and wait for your reply. Without an immediate response it’s likely they will continue their search.
