Introducing Our Trainers: Rebecca Henderson

Around the country and Canada, our wonderful trainers teach the Accredited Staging Professional Course. Virtually every week, often every day, I receive word from course participants about how much they loved their trainer. I’ve asked each trainer to introduce themselves. Today, Rebecca Henderson will share a word about her background. Barb Barb Schwarz, ASP®, ASPM®, AB, IAHSP® The Creator of Home Staging® CEO IAHSP® Founder and Chairwoman of The Board of The International Association of Home Staging Professionals® and Foundation Rebecca Henderson Prior to my design and Staging experience, I was in outside sales. In 2005 I finished my formal education in Interior Design.  In 2005 I attended the ASP® Course and became an ASP® (Accredited Staging Professional) and an ASPM® (Accredited Staging Professional Master) in 2006. In 2012 I earned the designation of ASP-SRS (Accredited Staging Professional – Senior Relocation Specialist) and ASP REO® (Accredited Staging Professional – Real Estate Owned). In 2014 I became a Certified ASP® Trainer for I am the past President of Tacoma Chapter IAHSP® (International Association of Home Staging Professionals) 2005-2006, Tacoma, and Vice President of Seattle IAHSP® 2005. I am a member of the Southern California Regional Chapter of IAHSP®. I am married to Shawn and have 2 adult sons, Jeremy and Chris. Together with Shawn I rescued two dogs, Barkley, a Ridgeback mix, and Lena, a Whippet mix, both now seniors. Our cat Midnight appeared on our door step as a feral kitten. Currently, I own and run Alabaster Staging + Design, the largest Staging Company in Pierce County, Washington. I have been personally trained by Barb Schwarz and will forever be grateful to her for the incredible Mentor she has been to me. I have owned my company for over 8 years, Staging hundreds and hundreds of homes and builders models. I love my work, and that passion and vision is my drive.
