Looking back at a wonderful gathering of Accredited Staging Professionals®

On Oct 26 through 28 this year, ASPs® and ASPMs® from around the US and as far away as Brazil assembled for the ASP® 2012 IAHSP® Educational Conference. This year the conference was held at on beautiful Whidbey Island, WA. The Conference featured powerful information, great people and networking. And, I am excited to share that two new designations for the attendees were introduced for the first time: ASP-SRS and ASP-REO. ASP-REO stands for Real Estate Owned Specialist and attendees learned how to build their ASP® Staging Business working with bank owned, short sale, and repossessed properties, how to gain business from banks and how to work with short sale owners and agents who have the REO Listings. ASP-SRS stands for Senior Specialist and those earning this new designation learned about the different kinds of business serviced needed by the senior market and how to effectively reach out to the senior community by working with retirement centers and the aging population. During the Educational Conference we also introduced the new IAHSP® Premier Designation for those that qualified. Click here to see how you can earn this new designation. One of the highlights of every Conference is the awards and I am very excited to share with you this year’s winners: Congratulations, dear hearts. I am so proud of all of you! Pictures from the Conference will soon be featured on the Stagedhomes.com website. In the meantime, here are some great pictures posted by Jennie Norris. Several more are also posted at my Facebook timeline where many have been nice enough to tag me in their pictures. Thank you everyone for doing that! During the Conference the IAHSP Foundation, Inc. held a charity auction to raise funds to help fund WWSSW® activities. ASPs in attendence and various IAHSP Chapters donated many great items and Stagedhomes.com donated ASP® Renewals, ASP® Courses and Lifetime Memberships. The auction raised almost $15,000! The two largest auction donors were Maureen Poole, APSM® who won a Lifetime ASPM® Membership, and Kim Reit, ASP® who received a Lifetime ASP® Membership.
