Staged and SOLD

Recently I had the privilege of having breakfast with one of my REALTORS®, Carol, and she shared some great info with me.  One of her recent sellers, which I did a consultation with, said  she “loved me” and was thrilled that Carol referred her to me.  The house sold in 6 days for $20,000 over listed price.  Carol said she, because of me, has decided to only take on sellers who will Stage.  Carol also said she referred another agent to me with a client who needed their house Staged. The REALTOR®, Kristen, who Carol had referred to me was skeptical because she had never worked with an ASP® Stager before and was unsure of what to expect.  When I met Kristen’s sellers, they informed me that I had Staged their brother and sister-in-law’s home which Carol sold in a matter of 3 hours.  They were so excited to have me come and Stage their home immediately!  Wonderful sellers who did everything I suggested, got the house ready for us, and then it was Staged.  First Open House had 27 people come through.  That’s impressive because we are still in the dead of winter with lots of snow.  The REALTOR®, Kristen, shared with me that feedback on the property has been “better than ever” and she feels the house will sell very quickly. Carol and Kristen, both referred me to another REALTOR® in their office, Kristie, telling her, “Just call Brandi, she is a Staging expert.”  Kristie, too, was skeptical and had never used an ASP® Stager in the past.  Again, I had the privilege of working with amazing, motivated sellers who are also pillars in our community.  They followed all the Staging suggestions I gave them to a tee, we Staged the house and again 25 people at the first Open House and this was out in the boondocks!  I just received a phone call from these sellers and they informed me that the house just went under contract after 10 days for full asking price.  They were so relieved, satisfied, and excited they asked for a stack of business cards for them to give out at their store and to all their friends.  They’ve also decided to buy some of the Staging items used because they loved them so much. Moral of the story is you never know where a Staging project or business or referrals will come from and it’s important to always put your best foot forward.  Looking for every opportunity and aligning yourself with those who appreciate what you do makes all the difference. As always, my love and gratitude for ASP® Staging… I LOVE this business! Love, Brandi Cernohlavek, ASPM®, IAHSP® Official ASP® Course Trainer
